More users increase test time - suggestions?

Unregistered User Posts: 514 4/3/2018	Unregistered User Posts: 514 I created a Test for Dynamics CRM Online and just had a question about how long the test should take. When I use 5 VUs it takes 5 minutes but as I increase the number of users the test takes longer; 30 users 6 minutes, 100 users - 13 minutes 200 users - 20 minutes, 300 users - 1 hr 13 minutes and 400 users - 2hr 43 minutes. I'm concerned that my laptop might be a bottle neck on this, should I be concerned about this? and is it possible to use multiple machines to run the test, so instead of 400 VUs on my machine, have 4 machines running 100 VUs at the same time.

George @StresStimulus Administrator Posts: 568 4/3/2018	George @StresStimulus Administrator Posts: 568 There may be several reasons why increasing the number of VUs will increase the test time. The most common reason is that the server is responding slower due to higher load, which is normal. Another reason, like you mentioned, can be your local machine running StresStimulus can be a bottleneck. In this case you can use multiple load agents to run the test.
