More users increase test time - suggestions?

I created a Test for Dynamics CRM Online and just had a question about how long the test should take. When I use 5 VUs it takes 5 minutes but as I increase the number of users the test takes longer; 30 users 6 minutes, 100 users - 13 minutes 200 users - 20 minutes, 300 users - 1 hr 13 minutes and 400 users - 2hr 43 minutes.
I'm concerned that my laptop might be a bottle neck on this, should I be concerned about this? and is it possible to use multiple machines to run the test, so instead of 400 VUs on my machine, have 4 machines running 100 VUs at the same time.
