StresStimulus recording status: Proxy Configuration Failed

Recording failed. The browser is not currently configured to direct web traffic through the StresStimulus proxy because it did not register automatically as system proxy. Below is a list of common solutions:

  • Run StresStimulus as Administrator.
  • Use Fiddler version of StresStimulus
  • Set up the system proxy manually.
  • Use Firefox browser, as it has its own proxy settings. To record with Firefox, select it from the web browser dropdown in StresStimulus Wizard.
  • If you are evaluating StresStimulus, schedule a support session, and one of our support experts will assist you in configuring the recording proxy on your machine. If you are an existing customer, contact your support rep.
