There is no direct support for assigning an arbitrary IP address to a VU. However if you need this for supporting web server affinity in a load balancer environment, there are several workarounds.
Here is an example that support F5 load balancers. When a VU sends an initial requests, F5 analyzes its IP address and injects response cookie BIGipServer that contains the encoded IP address and port of the destination web server https://support.f5.com/csp/article/K6917 In subsequent requests, F5 uses BIGipServer request cookie values to rout requests to the same web server.
StresStimulus supports BIGipServer cookie spoofing to achieve the same result of web server affinity and proper load-balancing.
