Using trace log to log test errors

We have a project requirement wherein we need to write the Error logs to a file. We see that from the below shown screen, we can setup this Logging and Save it to an external file. Below are few of our queries on the same:
i. Is there any other setting we need update to enable this logging?
ii. Can we have this logging enabled even for our Jenkin CI/CD test runs? If yes, is it the same step that need to be followed?
iii. Do we have any restrictions or is there any cap limit on the Log file size?
iv. Do we have any consequences if we enable this feature while running our tests?
