The tool is totally useless in trial mode. 3 connections? What's the point for a "stress test"?

You are not taking advantage of all evaluation options available to you. Let me explain how you can further evaluate StresStimulus and run fully pledged stress tests of your applications for free.
After an anonymous (registration-free) download, StresStimulus is fully operational, but limited to 3 VUs. This enables users to review the UI, record and configure load tests, and even run light performance tests of their application on as many machines as they wish, to decide if they are interested enough to provide their contact information that is required for a full evaluation. To start your unlimited VU 7-day trial, click the "Free Trial" menu option on the StresStimulus website, complete a contact form and within a few seconds, receive your activation key that will remove the VU limit.
Further, if after the initial 7-day trial you need more time to evaluate StresStimulus, you will be prompted to submit a one-page survey that is required for the trial extensions.
Also, during the trial you will receive the same level of support that is available to our paid customers.

It seems fair to me.
If you want to see if it can generate large loads there is the free version, if you want to see all the features there is the 3 user version and full trial can be requested to fill any gaps between those two options.

Thanks for mentioning the free version.
Also, after exhausting all allowed trials, some of our customers purchase weekly passes before placing larger orders. They use weekly passes as a relatively low-cost option to continue StresStimulus evaluation for as long as they need.
