Timeouts after disabling timeouts

My test has 5 test cases. I ran several tests with 100 , 250 and 500 VUs. The tests with 500 VUs had a high rate of timeouts, even though I turned the timeouts off. Do you know why this would occur?

Timeouts should not occur if they have been disabled. Timeouts can only be disabled on the test case level. To disable timeouts set the Request timeout property to Disabled.
If you did that, then, perhaps, the reason you are still getting timeouts is that you have multiple test cases in your test and timeouts aren’t disabled for other test cases
