Timeout confusion

Test Case Summary Primary Pages: 5 URLs : 79 Test Parameters Load pattern: Constant load Users: 500 Browser Type: IE8 Network Type: LAN Complete test after: 500 iterations Test Run Information Test run duration (s): 1178.23 Errors Http Errors: 1000 Timeouts: 1114 Requests (HTTP transactions) Total requests: 39,500 Requests/sec: 33.52 Avg. response time (s): 51.33 now question is timeouts is why grate than 1000 because 500 user and 500 iterations ? why?

Dinesh, While the timeout is set for a page, the number of timeouts is the number of page's requests that exceeded this timeout. In your test, 1114 out of 39500 requests timed-out. Does it make sense? -Vadim
