Specifications for VM capacity

George @StresStimulus Administrator Posts: 568 12/15/2018	George @StresStimulus Administrator Posts: 568 We only have general VM recommendations as hardware utilization can be impacted by the number and complexity of test cases. Regular VM with 8GB of RAM and 4-core x2.8 GHz CPUs can handle between 500 and 1000 VUs when used for test cases of medium complexity. Your team should be able to more accurately determine the VM capacity requirements for your test cases during the POC. Once we configure 1 or 2 test cases that are typical to your application, we can run a test that ramp-up users until the CPU utilization reach 80-90%. Then we can determine how many VUs can emulate one VM and then determine the number of VMs you may need.
