Silent install

Like all secure enterprise organisations we do not allow our users to download or install software, using SCCM to distribute software. What are the silent install switches for StressStimulus, I can't find them documented anywhere.

In order to run the silent installer, you would need to download the StresStimulus cmd installer. It is the same version of the tool, it just supports command-line switches. To download it, use this direct link.
Use the following switches to run in quiet mode (silent):
StresStimulusInstaller_cmd.exe /q
To run the installer in quiet mode
StresStimulusInstaller_cmd.exe -u /q
To run the un-installer in quiet mode

Hi, thanks for that, the user's just got back to me. It installed OK but with no desktop or start menu shortcuts.Additionally the user wants the just agent installed on some PCs. Is there a list of command line switches? I tried StresStimulusInstaller_cmd.exe /? but that just started the installer.

StresStimulus silent installer should install all default settings including desktop and start menu shortcuts. If you do not see these shortcuts then your remote installer may be missing permissions to create shortcuts. You can check permissions or create them manually after the installation.
Based on your feedback, we released a new build of StresStimulus command line installer where we added the following switches:
- To enable Agent mode after quiet installer use the /agent switch: StresStimulusInstaller_cmd.exe /q /agent
- Help switch to display all available switches: StresStimulusInstaller_cmd.exe /?
The new installer can be downloaded here.
