Recording scenario from a fat client

Most of our Dynamics apps are thin client apps (web) but we do have a few that are thick client. Can I use StresStimulus for those?
If they must be web apps, can I emulate the thick client apps via a browser and use xy coordinates to perform?

You can load test thick clients with StresStimulus if they use HTTP(s) protocol. To record thick client test cases open the recorder and select the “non-browser” option. http://support.stresstimulus.com/display/doc47/Recording+Test+Case
