Load testing SharePoint with 3 VU version

Unregistered User Posts: 514 8/27/2013	Unregistered User Posts: 514 I downloaded a new version today and I am doing some tests with the 3 VU (Trial license, status = not activated). One of the applications we need to load test is a SharePoint 2007 web application. It comprises of aspx pages that contain multiple web parts. So upon opening a page in the browser the base page is loaded and then a series of subsequent requests is made. The parameters for these subsequent requests are dynamic. Can I also use the above trial license to identify these parameters or do I need to use a different version?

With the not activated version you can parameterize all SharePoint dynamic parameters. However, this version is missing time-saving functions like Parameter Finder and Auto Configurator that are very handy in parameterizing complex dynamic applications like SharePoint. Therefore I recommend you to register for a unlimited VU trial here so you can use a registered version.
