How to monitor a remote server

I am trying to add remote machines to ST to monitor system resources. The Infra team opened up Port 139 as we were trying to connect over LAN. It threw Network path not found error. Then I thought of connecting over the web. I installed perfmon agents on these machines and to listen on port 49996 , but it threw the following error:
I also added the machine in control panel -> user accounts.
Where are we going wrong?

In order to troubleshoot monitoring over LAN, try connecting using Perfmon as described http://support.stresstimulus.com/display/doc50/Troubleshooting+Monitors
In order to use monitoring over the Web with the PerfAgent you also have to open the target machines firewall (Windows firewall) to accept traffic from port 49996.
