V1.5 beta update, released today, includes the embedded SQL Server database repository to substantially expand the capacity of handling large tests. The maximum test duration is increased by 1-2 orders of magnitude while using the same hardware. Also, a greater number of virtual users can be handled without overloading test machines.
Embedded SQL Server facilitates storage of all measurement and analytical data. It made StresStimulus less RAM-hungry and substantially reduced the occurrences of the out of memory exceptions. For more details and benchmarking results check this blog.
The original V1.5 beta version released less than 3 weeks ago added support for JSON and XML parameterization, along with more than 2 dozen other enhancements.
