Good day,

Just had a question with regard to scripting in Stress Stimulus. I have identified whenever a PATCH call( request type for partial modification, similar to GET and POST) is being hit in the application, it is not getting recorded in Stress Stimulus. Request are even not available in Fiddler session of SS which are created by default. Not sure if the tool is rejecting the same or if it’s a config issue.

As an alternative, I was able to record this call by opening the application and Fiddler side by side and later plug the call into the already recorded script.

I assume SS is able to handle GET and POST very well and not PATCH.

Could you please let us know if there is an alternative solution or setting to work with PATCH request type as doing it manually is a tedious task if there are a number of patch calls.

Are the PATCH requests being captured in Fiddler without using StresStimulus?

Do you have an example of a public URL that uses PATCH requests so we can test it?

Thanks

Its being used by our Dev team for MD365 application, so hoping SS to support it.

Thank you for your clarifications. Our product team will add support for PATCH requests. Expected delivery time - next week.

In the meantime, I posted it on the SUGGESTIONS & FEATURE REQUESTS forum here.

Thanks for your suggestion!
