Let us have a scenario of the live site:
Say I am testing a ecommerce site with 300 virtual users.
the case is i want to add differnet count of users for different pages and flows e.g.
100 vu will only explore the site and do nothing on the site like adding the products to the cart and anything which will make the entry in DB.

150 users are logging in the site and adding the products to the cart and then proceed to checkout and enter the checkout data and make payments.

and other 50 users and blogging the entries on the site.
Is it possible to do all the test in a single go if so how can we achieve the tasks.
If i have to do such test what are the steps i need to follow. what will be the itrations settings and how can i set multiple count of users for different sessions. Is it possible or not. Or I have to think in other way to get this tasks done.

Hi Anup,

To achieve what you need, follow the steps below:
1. Create a test with three separately recorded test cases.  Item 1 in this post http://www.stresstimulus.com/blog/post/what-s-new-in-v2-0-part-4-enterprise-edition describes how to create multiple test cases. First, click the Record button and record your first test case where a user just explores the site (Browsing). Then hit the record button again and select the "Add New Test Case" option and record adding the products to the cart, etc (Checkout). Finally, record the blogging test case (Blogging). You should now have 3 test cases.

2. Distribute the virtual users between the three test cases by setting Mix weights, as described in the Item 2 of the same post. In your scenario with 300 VU's, set the mix weight of Browsing - 2, Checkout - 3, Blogging - 1.

3. Configure your load. In the Test Configuration section -> Load Pattern, select Steady Load with 300 VUs.

4.Click Start to run the test.

StresStimulus will perform exactly what you've described.

Cheers,
-Vadim
