Asp.net viewstate works automatically?

I was able to create a test case hitting a multiple pages .net web form with parameterization using a csv file, which is what we intend to use this tool for in the long term.
Asp.net view state is retained by default, right? I don't have to do anything special to be able to test Asp.net sites that rely heavily on view state, is that correct?
