I have two questions:

  1. When I click the Record button and then click through my website buildinga script, are the pauses between my clicks recorded in the script?

  2. Can I insert a pause between iterations?

Thanks

On your first question : The pauses between your clicks, called recorded think time, are stored in the script for each page. When you configure your test, you have 4 related options. Navigate to “multi-test cases” -> click the appropriate test case -> select the “think time between pages” property. You can select between zero, recorded, constant and random.

If you select “recorded”, you have further option to edit your recorded think time for every page. To do so, navigate to the page settings, select the page, modify the “think time” property to overwrite the recorded value with your custom value.

On your second question, Yes. To insert a pause between iterations, Navigate to “multi-test cases” -> click the appropriate test case -> select the “delay between iterations ” property (see below).  You can select between zero, constant and pacing.
