I ran a stress test yesterday evening. During the test, the Stress Stimulus tool said that the amount of SQL was at 100% so the test needed to be stopped. The test was not 100% complete at that point so the full test was not ran.

Can you please tell me what that means? Is my test too large (too many user actions)? Does it mean something else? Any kind of guidance and advice about this SQL error would be greatly appreciated.

StresStimulus users embedded SQL CE database repository with a maximum of 4GB of storage per test run. It should be sufficient to run most tests. However, there are two options for running longer tests:

a. Reducing test storage use by disabling static content logging or logging only errors, as described here http://support.stresstimulus.com/display/doc53/Reducing+Test+Storage+Use

b. Remove the 4 GB limit by using a full SQL Server for the test repository that is only limited by the amount of available disk space. It can be configured in a few mouse clicks as described here http://support.stresstimulus.com/display/doc53/Test+Result+Storage
