Problem Statement: We have recently started encountering 401 Unauthorized errors while executing our scripts in StressStimulus on our local machine.
Scenario: We are facing this issue while: Recording a new script (creating a new record in a CRM entity) Verifying previously working scripts recorded in StressStimulus
Error Details: The error message indicates: Authorization header is missing. This issue was not observed earlier, and the same scripts were working fine previously.
Support Required: Could you please help us understand/suggest resolving it?
Looking forward to your support.

A 401 Unauthorized error means the server is rejecting the request due to missing or invalid authentication. Your note about a missing Authorization header confirms this.
For newly recorded scripts, this is typically caused by misconfiguration, most often missing correlations (e.g., tokens or session values not being captured and replayed correctly).
For previously working scripts, this usually indicates that something has changed on the application side (authentication flow, tokens, or security settings), so the scripts may need to be re-configured or re-recorded.
Resolving this type of issue typically requires reviewing the specific script behavior within your target test environment, and this level of troubleshooting is not practical on a public forum.
- If you are a StresStimulus customer, please contact your support representative, who can review the script configuration and help get it working correctly.
- If you are evaluating StresStimulus, you are welcome to request a complimentary test configuration (POC) session (https://www.stresstimulus.com/trials/free-test-configuration), during which we will fix the script via screen sharing.
Cheers,
