Is there a way to migrate performance counter sets and counter set mappings from Visual Studio to StresStimulus or create counter sets?

StresStimulus supports multiple performance graphs, and each graph can have monitors for one or more machines with multiple performance counters. Server monitoring is described https://support.stresstimulus.com/display/doc58/Windows+Servers+Monitoring.
There is no direct support for migrating performance counters from VS; however, it may be possible.
StresStimulus stores performance counters in XML format in the PerfGraphs section (described https://support.stresstimulus.com/display/doc58/Performance+graph) in .ssconfig file. The counter identifiers (category, counter, and instance) are taken from Windows Perfmon.
It looks like VS uses its naming convention for monitors.
You can try to extract settings from VS, convert VS counter names to Windows Perfmon names, and manually add them to the .ssconfig file.
You would need to maintain the existing XML integrity of the .ssconfig file.
Once complete editing, try opening .ssconfig file and see if it works and if the counters were added.
Make sure you make a backup copy of .ssconfig file before starting to change.
