A question I have RE a test I am executing.

If I am executing the test, the Load Agent is set to the default "Local". Does this mean that the load is being generated locally (i.e., I am located in the UK. Therefore, the load onto the server is all from the UK)?

Local Agent means the current machine running StresStimulus (the controller). In your situation, if the controller is located in the UK, then the entire load is coming from the UK.
If you require to generate load from different regions, you may add cloud load agents to your test as described https://support.stresstimulus.com/display/doc58/Controller+and+Agents
