Licensing Overview

Select an edition

Select one of the following editions: Pro, Enterprise or Service Provider (SP). by navigating to the corresponding product table on the order page.

• Pro Edition is recommended for Web applications of simple to medium complexity.
• Enterprise Edition is a complete load testing solution for Enterprise applications of any size and complexity.
• SP Edition is for QA companies providing testing services to others.
• Enterprise / SP Editions support distributed and cloud testing with multiple test cases.

Select a number of virtual users

Select between 25 and 250 (Pro Edition) or between 25 and 10,000+ (Enterprise and SP Editions) by finding the corresponding column in the licensing table.

• Pro Edition licenses have a choice of 25, 50, 100 and 250 VUs.
• Enterprise Edition licenses have a choice of 25, 50, 100, 250, 500, 1,000, 2500 5,000, 10,000 or more VUs.
• SP licenses have a choice of 100, 250, 500, 1,000, 2500 5,000, 10,000 or more VUs.
• VU upgrades are available. The cost is the net difference between the price of the new license and your license purchase price.

Select license duration

Select one of many licensing periods: perpetual, annual, monthly or quarterly subscriptions, or a weekly pass by finding the corresponding row in the licensing table.

• Perpetual licenses never expire.
• Monthly and Quarterly subscriptions are auto-renewable. Cancel future charges at any time.
• Annual licenses and weekly passes include one week of use from the order date and are not auto-renewable.

Add ERP Module (optional)

• If you want to load test Microsoft Dynamics or SAP applications, select the ERP option that simplifies creating test scripts.
• To add this module, in the checkout page check the ERP module box.

Upgrade to a multi-machine license (optional)

• With a per-machine license, you can use StresStimulus on one controller machine. If your maintenance is active, you can move it to a different controller machine, but only one controller at the time can be used. All pricing on the Buy Now page is provided for per-machine licenses.
• With a multi-machine license (available for some VU counts) you can divide licensed VUs between several controller machines. It is a cost-efficient way to license a team of testers running several independent tests at the same time.
• To upgrade to a multi-machine license, in the checkout page's multi-machine license dropdown, select 2-10 controllers or contact us for more.
• Moving licenses and re-allocating VUs between machines requires Internet connectivity to communicate with StresStimulus's licensing server and an active maintenance plan.

Upgrade support (optional)

The following support upgrades are available in the checkout page:

• Perpetual licenses include one month of Standard Support. Upgrade to 12 months of support with optional auto-renewal is available.
• All other licenses include Standard Support for the duration of the license.
• Upgrade to Premium Support is available for all Enterprise and SP licenses. To check the upgrade price, click here and select the license you wish to upgrade.
• License holders with unexpired support get new version upgrades for free. Major versions are released twice per year, with multiple maintenance updates issued in between.
